The Princess Bride

29.   Watch 50 movies from IMDB’s top 250 (2/50) (more info)

30.   Watch 101 new movies (5/101) (more info)

Yesterday I watched The Princess Bride (which is 180 on IMDB’s top 250). The story is presented in the movie as a book being read by a grandfather to his sick grandson. It centers around Buttercup, a beautiful young woman who lives on a farm. After losing her true love and becoming engaged to an unpleasant prince, she is kidnapped by a group of hilarious outlaws. Adventure ensues.

I can’t believe I had never seen this before and absolutely loved it! I’ll definitely be watching it again (perhaps with Alex this Thurs). I even found it online. I’ve included the first part in the post and you can find the rest here.

Life is pain, Highness. Anyone who says different is selling something.
