French:
(1) apprendre – learn
(2) nouveau – new
ASL:
Learn – The movement of the hand shows knowledge taken from a book and placed in the brain.
Fun – One U hand shape moves from the nose to the top of the other U hand shape.

This is *such* a good idea! When I was first learning French my favorite word was pamplemousse! Just because I thought it was funny. It changes pretty frequently now, but at the moment it’s flâner since one of my favorite things to do is wander around “sans but” :)
Those are definitely going to be my words for next week! :)
